Are you worried about a global flu pandemic?

Mexican authorities say 81 people are now thought to have been killed
by an outbreak of a human swine flu virus. How should authorities
contain the virus?

Public buildings have been closed in the central American country,
large events cancelled and people told to stay at home in an attempt
to prevent the spread of infection.

More than 1,300 people have been admitted to hospital with suspected
symptoms and several people have also fallen ill in the United States.

The World Health Organization has said the virus could become a
pandemic and is a matter of "international concern".

　　另据纽约市卫生局25日证实，过去数天中，纽约市共有100多名学生出现发烧、喉咙痛等症状，初步检测显示，其中8人患有A型流感，很可能是猪流感，但病毒的确切类型还有待进一步确认。

　　墨西哥卫生部官员何塞·科尔多瓦25日也通报说，截至24日晚间，墨西哥共有20人因直接感染猪流感病毒死亡，全国疑似病例达4000余人。
