Coco Beach Island Resort is a 10 hectare resort owned and operated by Sun Holiday, Inc.; and is located at Behija, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro. The resort became operational on November 1986 and is currently a member of Philippine Convention & Visitor's Corporation (PCVC), a member of Hotel & Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP), and is accredited as a Class "AA" Resort by the Department of Tourism. Here in the old days, Spanish galleons passed by the trading routes between Europe, Mexico and the East. Here, the sea is blue and full of beautiful fish and corals in different colors and shapes, and here the hills are full of coconut palms swaying with the breeze. Ideas from the founder, designs from Danish and Filipino architects, many nights of planning under the palms of the cove plus the ingenuity and hard work of Filipinos - created Coco Beach. Today, Coco Beach is a 10 hectare resort with bungalows and facilities all made in natural materials. No concrete is to be seen anywhere. Four restaurants, 96 rooms, tennis court, hanging bridge, sports facilities, 2 swimming pool - everything blends with nature.
